My name is Anicka I am a mother, wife and owner of a small business.
My background like many of yours has been through its shares of ups and downs but yet meaningful and very colorful.
I have walked many paths in this beautiful thing we call life in this short time on earth.
I am literally a creator. I love to create, I have a special place in my heart for fashion a love for cooking/baking and a natural niche for home decor.
After receiving my 1st degree in fashion & merchandising. I was so driven to spread my wings and bet on myself sixteen years ago. Gods plan was put into play and my first of three blessings was born.
I'm from Connecticut where there are not many opportunities in the fashion industry . So since fourteen years old, I worked and volunteered to elevate myself . As years passed that’s exactly what I did.
I worked in banking ,retail, food/restaurants, and homeless shelters all the while obtaining my bachelors degree.
With my 2nd degree I was able to land a Case Manager position working for a non-profit organization housing homeless individuals dealing with addiction and life altering situations.
While dedicating a decade of my life in that position ,my second daughter of three was born which ultimately made me redirect my focus , so in 2017 I quit my job.
I decided to focus on what really makes me happy.
I took a break for to align myself , set goals and focus . In 2018 my first business was opened Health is Wealth juice bar . In 2019 my third daughter was born . The year of 2020 was the world wide pandemic and there was the creation of
Anicka’s TRIBE also known as ATRIBE
I decided to do things that truly makes me happy like creating & helping others and the tools that make up those things .
A-tribe are those who have a connection and to uplift and inspire myself and others to find what makes them happy through light, love, peace.
